Japanese gaming outlet Genki reported that the physical special edition of Pokémon FireRed / LeafGreen sold out on the Pokémon official website in under 25 minutes. Some commenters thought that was actually slow — in the US market, it might be gone in a minute.

The centerpiece of this set is a glass Poké Ball crafted with 3D laser engraving, featuring three-dimensional figures of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle inside. It comes packaged in a box that faithfully recreates the original GBA packaging.

Also included is a display set: a dedicated showcase cabinet, a base stand, and a color-switching illuminated acrylic panel with Grass, Fire, and Water lighting modes corresponding to the three starter Pokémon types.

One thing worth noting: that lighting feature requires 9 AAA batteries, which are not included — you'll have to buy them yourself.
