Marvel’s Spider-Man RemasteredFetching price~ 59,99€Shadow of the Blade Zero dated for September 2026, sparking buzz
Shadow Blade Zero has now locked in a date: September 9, 2026. According to GKJ Gaming, who shared the update in a video posted to YouTube and Bilibili, the game will launch worldwide on PS5 and PC through Steam and Epic. The same report says the console version will be PS5 timed exclusive for at least 12 months, which puts Xbox and NS2 at no earlier than September 2027. It is a clean rollout plan, with PS5 and PC clearly set first and the rest left for later.

What makes this update stand out is that it does more than tease. It actually puts the release date, platform split, and exclusivity window on the table at once. GKJ Gaming also says the main story will take roughly 20-30 hours, while full completion and the platinum trophy should take about 40 hours. For an action game, that is not a small package. It suggests a project that wants room for both narrative and combat systems to breathe.
The part that interests me most is Liang Qixing’s line about wanting Shadow Blade Zero to show itself and shine. It is a plain statement, but it sounds like something from someone directly involved rather than a polished marketing slogan. He also said he is a Marvel fan and has played Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man series. That balance is telling: he is clearly paying attention to other big-budget games, but he is still focused on making sure his own project can stand on its own terms.

There is still one PC-side detail that is harder to ignore. The Steam store page shows Denuvo anti-tamper protection on the PC version, though it is not yet clear whether it will be removed later. On top of that, the official final price has still not been announced. The earlier rumor about a 358 yuan physical edition preorder has already been debunked, and the overseas price range of $59.9 to $70 remains unconfirmed. For now, there is simply no official pricing to point to.
If you are looking at this from a buying-priority angle, PS5 owners are in the most straightforward position. The launch plan, timed exclusivity, and date are all already public. PC players have more to think about, especially with Denuvo and the usual first-day performance questions that come with action games. Paper information can look great, but if frame rate, loading, or compatibility issues show up at launch, that changes the experience fast. Waiting for early feedback on PC would be the cautious choice, and in this case, a sensible one.
The scheduling clash is another thing worth watching. Shadow Blade Zero and Marvel’s Wolverine are both set for September 2026, and Liang Qixing has already said he hopes his game can show itself. That is more than a simple overlap; it is a direct collision on the calendar. Marvel’s Wolverine has already been confirmed to open Sony State of Play on June 2, and GKJ Gaming believes Shadow Blade Zero is also likely to appear again. If there are no more hands-on sessions after the many offline playtests already held, then the next major look at the game may not come until release day. For an action game with this much anticipation, that kind of wait can be punishing.
