Bloodborne emulator adding online play with 60fps PvP demo already shown
PS4 emulator shadPS4 is adding online multiplayer to Bloodborne, with YouTube creator Scorched Knight already showcasing PvP and co-op gameplay running at 60FPS.

Sony's inaction created this situation. Since Bloodborne launched in 2015, there's been no PC port and no frame rate unlock for console. The community stopped waiting—first came 60fps patches via emulation and mods, now full multiplayer functionality. shadPS4's implementation covers both co-op dungeon runs and PvP invasions, essentially restoring the complete multiplayer experience Sony never bothered to preserve.

Don't expect a public release yet. Developers confirmed "the feature is still being refined with issues that need fixing," and no beta timeline exists. The demo footage shows functional netcode, but stability and compatibility need work. Emulated multiplayer involves network synchronization and data validation—far more complex than single-player emulation, so bugs are expected.

Community developers are outpacing the IP holder. Sony sits on Bloodborne without remastering or porting it, while hobbyist coders push the game forward. This pattern repeats across FromSoftware titles—Dark Souls PC relied on fan mods to fix broken netcode and performance issues at launch.

If you own Bloodborne on disc or digital, track shadPS4's development. Once multiplayer stabilizes alongside the 60fps patch, it'll surpass the PS4 original. Your PC needs adequate specs—PS4 emulation demands strong CPU and RAM. As for Sony responding with an official release? They won't even greenlight a remaster.
