Cygames has issued an official statement apologizing for multiple bugs and balance issues in the current version of Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Twilight, confirming that fixes, MSP acquisition adjustments, and character performance tweaks are coming in future updates.

That’s “launch-and-patch” in action—proof the testing phase wasn’t finished. For a multiplayer ARPG, two nightmares loom largest: broken systems and skewed balance. Granblue Fantasy: Relink stumbles into both. Cygames owns the problems, which earns points for accountability—but players have already paid full price.

The developer of Granblue Fantasy Relink: Endless Ragnarok has announced a plan to fix known bugs and adjust game balance, including MSP acquisition rates and character stats, to improve player experience. They apologize for any inconvenience and thank players for their support.

The planned MSP (Material Synthesis Points) adjustment could upend early-game progression pacing. Players who just finished grinding may rightly feel their effort was wasted.

Character rebalancing is even thornier. Buffing weak units and nerfing strong ones sounds fair in theory—but in practice, it often sparks fresh backlash rather than harmony.

Compared to polished co-op benchmarks like Monster Hunter or Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Relink showed real potential in its online design. Yet its launch state drags that promise down.

Should you buy it now? Wait for the first hotfix to land—especially if you’re playing solo. There’s no reason to pay full price for a half-finished product.
