Bunny Guys! Is Free to Claim Now, but Are These Two Rabbits Worth It
Steam is currently giving away two rabbit-themed games, Bunny Guys! and Bunny Hurling, and both can be claimed for free right now. More importantly, neither looks like filler: both games sit above 80% positive on Steam, which puts them in the platform's "Positive" range. Taken together, this freebie drop offers two very different pitches - one chaotic multiplayer platformer, one increasingly strange hunting game.

If you treat this promotion as a small sampler pack, the contrast is the main appeal. Bunny Guys! is the straightforward crowd-pleaser: a multiplayer obstacle-course platformer built around running, jumping, colliding, falling, and letting track layouts and traps create chaos on their own. Bunny Hurling, by comparison, starts like a hunting game, then gradually bends into something odder, with a much more experimental tone.
Bunny Guys! is easy to read at a glance. It's a 3D multiplayer party platformer that supports solo play as well as online competition for up to 8 players. The loop is familiar but effective: race through parkour-style courses, dodge traps, fight for first place, and push for a spot on the global leaderboards. The fastest players can even earn the "Golden Rabbit" title and unlock a fireworks celebration. Games like this do not live or die purely on movement depth; a lot of the fun comes from the constant accidents that happen when several players pile into the same space. In practice, more friends usually means more value.

The reception helps here. Since both games are currently in Steam's Positive range, they do not come off as downloads propped up by the word "free" alone. That matters especially for something like Bunny Guys!, where the biggest risk is usually an empty room or shallow content. Claiming it during the giveaway means you have a low-commitment backup ready the next time a group wants something light, messy, and easy to start. For players who enjoy party-game disorder and the forgiving, failure-prone rhythm of platforming, its value is better than it may first appear.

Bunny Hurling goes in a very different direction. The known setup is simple enough: use a traditional bow and arrow to hunt rabbits in a forest, then load the captured rabbits into a catapult and launch them into a castle to complete tasks assigned by the king. But the game does not stay simple. As it progresses, it becomes stranger, more dangerous, and more mysterious, and the rabbits themselves start behaving in increasingly odd ways. The appeal is not just the hunting loop, but the way the game keeps distorting its own rules until the player shifts from "I'm completing objectives" to "I'm watching to see how much further this world will lose control."

If the question is simply whether to claim them, the answer is straightforward: take both. Bunny Guys! makes the most sense for players with a regular friend group who want a lightweight multiplayer fallback. Bunny Hurling is better suited to players who are open to unusual premises and comfortable with a game that grows more distorted as it goes. If all you want is stable, clean, repeatable multiplayer fun, Bunny Guys! is the clearer priority. If novelty and a creeping sense of weirdness matter more, Bunny Hurling looks like the more interesting experiment to unpack.
