Reincarnation of the Beast launches across all platforms with bonus reward fixes
Beast of Reincarnation, the new action title from Game Freak — the studio behind the Pokémon franchise — launched August 4 across PC, PS5, and Xbox. The developer has since fixed a launch bug on Steam that prevented Deluxe Edition pre-order bonus DLC from appearing in player libraries.
The rollout hasn't been without friction. Valve has now added the missing bonus content directly to the Deluxe Edition bundle on Steam. Whether you bought the game directly or redeemed a key, the DLC should finally show up. If you restart the Steam client and still don't see the items, the developers recommend joining QQ group 1084089821 to contact customer service. This kind of missing-DLC bug points to a studio still finding its footing in multi-platform publishing.

Beast of Reincarnation is Game Freak's attempt to break out of its comfort zone. But right now, the game lacks the polish of a fully realized action title. The core mechanics have real potential, but the underlying execution feels rushed. The development team is currently working on more optimization patches. If you care about a smooth experience and value for your money, you should hold off on buying until the first batch of patches drops.

For a simultaneous multiplatform launch, performance stability across PC, PS5, and Xbox is critical. Fixing broken pre-order DLC is just basic housekeeping. What matters now is how fast Game Freak responds to player feedback and rolls out updates. The action game market is crowded, and the studio will need to act quickly to smooth out the game's rough edges and win players over.
