Black Myth: Wukong's first pop-up store launches in Beijing with 100+ merch items
Game Science is bringing BLACKMYTH: Wukong merchandise offline for the first time. From May 1 to May 25, 2026, Beijing's Weibo IN Cross-Dimensional Gravity Field will host the domestic hit's inaugural official pop-up—welcome news for players burned by online sellouts.

The centerpiece is a 1:1 scale Destined One statue, letting fans stand face-to-face with the game's protagonist. More practically, nearly 100 official products will fill the pop-up space—apparel, sculptures, figures, accessories—all available for immediate purchase. No more pre-order limbo.

The timing is calculated. May Day holiday drives peak consumer traffic, and BLACKMYTH's momentum hasn't cooled. Game Science is targeting fan wallets with precision. Previous online drops sold out instantly; in-person shopping at least lets you inspect items before committing.

The 25-day window isn't generous. Interested players should plan ahead—this is BLACKMYTH's first offline pop-up, and whether it'll replicate in other cities remains unclear. Out-of-town fans face a choice: make a Beijing trip during the holiday, or keep refreshing online restocks.

Commercially, Game Science is playing it smart. Online channels proved the merchandise's revenue potential; the pop-up tests offline market response and could pave the way for permanent retail locations. The real question is inventory—players traveling distance shouldn't arrive to empty shelves.
