According to Gamersky, Delta Force, Tencent’s shooter, was one of BW2026’s biggest draws, standing out with a 3,000-square-meter themed booth and an immersive offline extraction-style experience. The report says BW2026 drew more than 400,000 on-site check-ins, and Delta Force was one of the show floor’s busiest stops thanks to the booth’s scale and hands-on design.
What made the booth work was not just its size, but how directly it turned the game’s search-loot-extract loop into a physical route players could move through. Visitors first picked up a themed ita bag and a mission card, then moved through a staged sequence: searching for supplies in a radiation zone, rushing to grab supplies in a radiation leak zone, passing through a decontamination room, and finally entering a lottery based on the number of red cards they had collected, with a results poster generated at the end.

The best part was that it tried to recreate in-game decision-making instead of stopping at set dressing. In the second section, players received an AZ3 key, described in the article as an item from a new map. By approaching radiation containers, they could judge from the reaction whether supplies were inside. It was a small touch, but it reproduced the uncertainty that makes extraction games work.
The third section pushed the pace harder. Players had 30 seconds to grab as many supplies as possible, with a door-access step and a countdown-based loading sequence built in to heighten tension and immersion. It was a simple format, but the time pressure clearly did a lot of the work.

Just as important, the booth was not only about the set. Alongside the nuclear power plant-themed setup, a full cast of operator cosers, operator-specific interactive lines, and short story skits helped build what the article describes as an on-site “Zhoutopia” atmosphere. Dedicated players also showed up in gear and joined the interaction, alongside the official coser cast, creating a stronger sense of community and belonging.

The guest lineup pushed that even further. He Rundong, Lao Feiyu, Yang Qijia, XDD, Doubi de Quechao, and Hunyuan Rysn were all invited to appear at BW2026 and interact with players. He Rundong said on site that he had been playing for more than two years and still had not obtained the Heart of Africa; according to the article, he then got the item after returning to his hotel and playing again that afternoon. It is the kind of small dramatic beat that spreads fast in fan edits and community circles.
Several of those KOLs also got hands-on time with Black Tide Demolition, which the article says is “finally” about to go live. That mattered because it gave the booth more than a celebration lap: players also got a look at content that still has real anticipation behind it.
The report’s broader takeaway is straightforward, and it holds up. By combining an offline extraction-style route, stage performance, and celebrity match elements, Delta Force achieved a strong crossover effect at BW2026 while fueling fan-made content and broader sharing online. For a show built on noise and visibility, that mix of playable interaction, stage performance, and shareable moments is what made Delta Force stand out.

A huge booth can pull crowds, but I’d still wait on launch reviews before treating it as a buy. If the extraction gameplay stays as polished as the hands-on demo, it could be worth watching.
Big expo booths can fake momentum, but 400,000 check-ins and live extraction demos do suggest real interest; I still want to see if that polished social vibe holds up after launch.
