On saleCyberpunk 2077Cyberpunk 2077 Hits 215 FPS at 1440p, Is the RTX 5060 Ti Worth It?
On May 6, 2026, testing shared by GIGABYTE and NVIDIA showed how the GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GAMING OC 8G performs across a range of PC games, with Cyberpunk 2077 reaching 215.17 fps at 1440p using DLSS 4 Quality and 4X Frame Generation.

Seen as the core of a mid-range 1440p gaming build, this card’s purpose is pretty clear. It is built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell GB206-300-A1 GPU and TSMC’s custom 4N process, with a 181mm² die, 21.9 billion transistors, and 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The goal is not to take on flagship models head-on, but to combine mainstream resolutions, manageable power draw, and the latest AI features into a more balanced package. The single 8-pin power connector and 180W TDP fit that idea well, keeping both build requirements and PSU pressure relatively modest.

The cooling setup follows the same logic and feels aimed squarely at mainstream players. It uses a triple 80mm fan design, five composite heat pipes, a direct-touch copper base, a one-piece metal backplate, and a large rear ventilation grille. The emphasis here is not flashy overkill, but stable control at a sustained 180W load. In a stress test at 25°C room temperature, the GPU held its full 180W power target throughout, peaked at 66°C, showed no clock drops, and the article specifically notes there was no coil whine. For players planning long Counter-Strike 2 sessions or multiple rounds of Naraka: Bladepoint, that matters more than a single benchmark pass.

The card’s positioning is just as direct in synthetic tests. It scored 16909 in 3DMark Time Spy, with a graphics score of 16306, and 8012 in Time Spy Extreme, with a graphics score of 7601. Those numbers point clearly to a GPU aimed at high-refresh 1080p and smooth 1440p play. In actual games, that picture holds up. In Counter-Strike 2 at high settings, it averaged 308.9 fps at 1440p with a 1% low of 129.7 fps, and 448.1 fps at 1080p with a 1% low of 199.9 fps. Delta Force averaged 246.5 fps at 1440p on the default preset, while Naraka: Bladepoint delivered 123 fps natively at 1440p and 179 fps with DLSS Quality enabled. For competitive titles and high refresh displays, the card is clearly up to the job.

The more meaningful shift comes from what DLSS 4 does to the experience. In Cyberpunk 2077, native 1440p performance was 80.36 fps, but enabling DLSS 4 Quality and 4X Frame Generation pushed that to 215.17 fps. At 1080p, the same jump went from 125.86 fps to 349.68 fps. In Black Myth: Wukong, using the Ultra preset with supersampling clarity set to 60, the card ran at 62 fps natively at 1440p and 173 fps with DLSS 4 4X enabled; at 1080p, it went from 75 fps to 195 fps. That is more than a small uplift. It changes the gap between merely playable and genuinely smooth high-refresh gaming. NVIDIA App also notes that the GeForce RTX 50 series can be upgraded to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and can enable a 6x Dynamic Multi-Frame Generation mode, so the card’s longer-term value is clearly tied to AI-assisted frame generation as part of the overall image pipeline.
There are other practical details that support that role. The test platform used a GIGABYTE Z890M FORCE DUO X WIFI7 motherboard paired with 32GB (16GB×2) of DDR5-6000 memory. On the card itself, I/O consists of three DP 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port. There is also RGB lighting along the side, with multiple lighting modes available.
The buying advice is straightforward. If your main games are Counter-Strike 2, Naraka: Bladepoint, or Delta Force—the kind of titles that reward high frame rates—then an RTX 5060 Ti 8G in the 2500-3000 yuan range does look like a very standard foundation for a new build: power draw is reasonable, the display outputs are current, and 1440p is very much on the table. If you care more about long-session AAA play in games like Cyberpunk 2077 or Black Myth: Wukong, where image quality and memory demands matter more, the best way to use this card is not to insist on native rendering at all costs, but to lean into DLSS 4 and treat AI features as part of the full graphics stack. It is not a card that brute-forces every workload, but in the mainstream 2500-3000 yuan market of 2026, it matches the way mainstream players actually use a GPU with impressive accuracy.
One more data point helps round out the picture: in Forza Horizon 5, using the Extreme preset with DLSS Quality, the card averaged 110 fps at 1440p and 144 fps at 1080p.
