Shui Headlines PS Plus China's June Lineup

PS Plus China rolled out its June free games on June 3, 2026, headlined by rhythm-based platformer Xi and narrative puzzle title Mr. Pumpkin 2: Kowloon Walled City. The offer runs through August 4. Both are solid indie bets, though neither will move the needle for most players.

The selection reflects a deliberate strategy. While PlayStation's Hong Kong storefront often leans toward AAA drops, China's PS Plus opts for independent titles. Casual subscribers get a low-stakes taste of niche games they might otherwise skip, and developers get exposure to a dedicated player base. China's smaller subscriber base makes indie-first a sensible call.

Xi builds its platform navigation around tight rhythm mechanics, while Mr. Pumpkin 2 guides players through Kowloon Walled City's dense corridors via story-driven puzzles. Neither is chasing mass appeal — and that balance is exactly the draw.

The June lineup rewards curiosity. Claim them if curious; skip them if not.
