Pokémon Pokopia Bundled with Switch 2, Launches in Australia and New Zealand This June
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company announced a Switch 2 bundle with Pokémon Pokopia, launching June 5, 2026 in Australia and New Zealand. The package includes one Switch 2 console and a digital download code for the game, available through My Nintendo Store and select retailers.

The timing tracks with Nintendo's usual playbook. Pokémon Pokopia launched in March and moved 2.2 million copies in its first four hours, earning a 9/10 from IGN. Bundling it with hardware now converts that momentum into console sales. For players still on the fence about Switch 2, the bundle solves the "what game should I buy at launch" problem—you get the console and a proven hit in one purchase.

The catch: it's Australia and New Zealand only for now. Nintendo has already rolled out Switch 2 bundles for Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Mario Kart World, so adding Pokopia to the lineup was expected. If you're in those regions and haven't picked up a Switch 2 yet, this bundle makes sense—Pokopia's sales and that IGN 9/10 speak for themselves.
For everyone else, watch for Nintendo's next announcement. Popular bundles typically expand to more markets over time. You can always buy the console and game separately if you can't wait, though you'll miss whatever extras the bundle might include. Either way, this is good news for Pokémon fans and anyone eyeing a Switch 2—now it's just a question of whether Nintendo takes this bundle global.
