Persona 5 Tactica and 7 Games Are Leaving Hong Kong PS Plus

---

According to Gamersky, the Hong Kong PlayStation Plus service has updated its Last Chance to Play list, confirming that at least 7 games will leave the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs on August 18, 2026. The biggest names on the list are Madden NFL 26 and Persona 5 Tactica, while three Shadowrun games and two Toy Story titles are also set to go.

Sony’s rotation is straightforward enough. It keeps the library moving, but it also turns access into a countdown. You can mean to start something for weeks and still find it on the departure list before you touch it.

For anyone scanning the lineup, Persona 5 Tactica is the one to watch. It is not a mainline sequel, but it still has the style and swagger that make Atlus games stand out, wrapped in a strategy format that deserves more than a passing look. The three Shadowrun titles land in the same category: Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition, and Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut. These are the kind of games that often build a following over time, which makes a timed license feel especially arbitrary.

The rest of the list is just as concrete: Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue and Toy Story 3 will also leave Premium. That is the tradeoff with subscription gaming. You are not buying permanence, just borrowing the clock.

The simplest advice is still the best. If you actually want any of these games, do not wait for a sale or assume they will circle back soon. In particular, Persona 5 Tactica is the one worth real time, not a rushed test run.

That is the downside of modern subscription libraries. They offer breadth, but they also normalize removals. For players, the clock matters just as much as the backlog.
