"Resident Evil" PS Disc Keychain Goes Viral! Players: This is True Faith

Recently in overseas gaming communities, a set of Resident Evil series PS disc keychains suddenly went viral. These keychains perfectly replicate the appearance of original PlayStation discs, from the reflective texture of the disc surface to the font details on the labels, making veteran players exclaim "my DNA is moving."

The player who posted showed off their complete collection, including disc designs from classic titles like the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3. Each keychain is only about a quarter the size of an actual disc, but the craftsmanship is quite exquisite—not only recreating the iconic black background with silver text of PS discs, but even the thumbnail images of game covers are clearly visible. Hanging on a keyring, they're both practical accessories and an expression of identity.

The comment section was instantly flooded with calls for "links please" and "I want the same ones." One player remarked: "This is what real hardcore gamer merchandise looks like, way more interesting than those logo-printed T-shirts." Others began reminiscing about their first time playing Resident Evil on PS—the dimly lit room, the snow-like static on CRT TVs, and that classic line "You are dead."

From a collector's perspective, the value of such merchandise isn't in practicality, but in emotional connection. For players who lived through the PS era, those discs weren't just game media—they carried the youthful memories of an entire generation. With Resident Evil 9: Requiem on the horizon, this wave of nostalgia might continue to ferment—after all, in today's digital-dominated world, tangible "physicality" has become a rare commodity.

If you're also a veteran player from the PS era, this keychain set is definitely worth your attention. It won't improve your gaming experience, but every time you pull out your keys, it'll remind you: those all-nighter zombie-slaying days have never truly gone away.
