*Cyberpunk 2077* is down to 104 yuan! This spring sale really can save you the cost of a meal

By Saturday afternoon, I finally powered on my PC, and the first thing I did wasn’t launch a game—it was check my wallet. For office workers, Steam sales are like ordering takeout on the weekend: the key isn’t whether it’s there, but whether it’s worth it.

This year’s Steam Spring Sale has officially begun and will run until 1:00 a.m. on March 27, 2026. It looks like there’s still plenty of time, but when the last two days actually arrive, a lot of people—just like me—start “revenge-buying” games into their carts. It feels great when you’re buying, but not so great when you barely play them afterward.

First, let me talk about what I see as the best deal this time around. Cyberpunk 2077 was originally 298 yuan and is now down to 104.3 yuan, hitting an all-time low. At this price, frankly, it’s no longer just a “patient gamer victory”—it’s more like “buying late feels almost free.” If you’ve been putting it off, this really is the time to grab it. Judging by the discount alone and the amount of content, the value is excellent.

In the second tier, I’d look at Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Lies of P. The former has dropped from 228 yuan to 114 yuan, and the latter from 298 yuan to 149 yuan—both all-time lows. One becomes much more appealing after being cut in half, while the other has a fairly clear action style and difficulty level, so you know what you’re getting before you buy and are less likely to regret it.

That said, not every “new all-time low” is a good fit for busy people. Nioh 3 is only 10% off, going from 348 yuan to 313.2 yuan. Sure, it’s a new all-time low, but that kind of discount just isn’t that convincing for working people. For games like this—recent releases with only a light discount—I’d rather wait. The money you save could go toward picking up an extra indie game.

On the other hand, Battlefield 6 has dropped from 268 yuan to 160.8 yuan, also a new all-time low; Hades 2 goes from 108 yuan to 81 yuan; Hollow Knight: Silksong goes from 76 yuan to 60.8 yuan. These feel more like “fragmented-time-friendly” picks. Especially when you’re scrolling through the store page on the subway, it becomes easy to do the math: the price of one AAA game can now be split into two or three portions of fun.

Then there’s the higher-priced group: Silent Hill f at 195.5 yuan, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 at 266.66 yuan, The Last of Us Part II Remastered at 276 yuan, Stellar Blade at 214.4 yuan, and Dynasty Warriors: Origins at 244.3 yuan. Are they cheaper? Yes, they are. But if you only get one evening a week to sit down at your computer, these more cinematic, longer, or still relatively expensive games may not deserve a higher priority than Cyberpunk 2077.

So, how should I put it? My advice for this Spring Sale is simple.

First, prioritize games that are at an all-time low and offer a lot of content, like Cyberpunk 2077. Second, look at games whose prices have been slashed in half, like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Lies of P. Third, for games like Nioh 3, where the discount is still shallow, just add them to your wishlist for now.

The Spring Sale comes every year, but your weekends aren’t guaranteed to be complete every week. Buying games is a lot like paying for food: it’s only truly worth it if it fills you up and feels like money well spent.
