The Witcher 3 unveils a new Ciri statue, but is it worth $489?
Prime 1 Studio has revealed a new 1:4 scale Ciri statue from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt via its official Weibo account, built around the character's Alternative Outfit design. The standard version costs $449, the Deluxe version costs $489, and the statue stands 21 inches tall, or about 53 cm. Based on the official materials, this is a piece that gets the costume logic right first, then builds the collector appeal around pose, accessories, and a story-specific base.
What stands out most is the armor choice. Ciri's Alternative Outfit replaces the more familiar white shirt with a more fully covered chainmail upper torso, and Prime 1 says the look draws from the Zerrikanian fashion described in both the original books and the game. That matters. It makes the redesign feel researched rather than ornamental, with protection that fits the character and setting instead of reading like a cosmetic rewrite made only to look flashier.

The pose also avoids the usual static showroom approach. Prime 1 depicts Ciri in the moment of slowly drawing her sword, which gives the statue tension without sacrificing the mobility and readiness associated with the character. According to the article, the metal openwork patterns on the pauldrons and knee guards, along with the scroll-like texture on the cloth at her waist, have been recreated with high precision. Those details do more to sell the piece than a pretty face sculpt alone, because they determine whether the entire equipment set feels coherent.

From a buying perspective, the version split is fairly straightforward. The standard edition is $449, while the Deluxe Bonus Version is $489, a difference of just $40. For that extra money, you get swappable limb parts that allow for different display combinations. Pre-orders through the P1S official online store or authorized dealers also include a web store-exclusive Bonus accessory: a fifth interchangeable left hand.
That hand is carrying the Cat School Witcher medallion taken from the corpse of bounty hunter Leo Bonhart. At that point, it stops being just another extra part and becomes a very specific narrative callback tied to The Witcher 3. For long-time fans, that kind of story-linked accessory significantly raises the value.

The base is another strong call. Prime 1 has recreated the climactic setting from the main quest On Thin Ice, using transparent resin to simulate shattered ice and splashing water. That kind of dynamic effect is standard for high-end statues, but it only works if the scene choice is right. Here, at least from the official reveal, Prime 1 seems to have picked one of Ciri's most memorable battle environments rather than settling for a generic rock-and-stump display.

The recommendation is simple. If you mainly want Ciri in her Alternative Outfit and need to keep the budget under control, the standard version already looks like a solid buy. But if you care about The Witcher 3's character storytelling and accessory completeness, the $40 jump to the Deluxe version is modest enough that it reads like the better-value main option. In a collectibles market where the real problem is often sloppy lore, weak accessories, or mismatched scene design, this Ciri statue at least appears to avoid all three. Based on the current information, it looks like a well-researched piece rather than a bait-and-switch product.
