Dynasty Warriors: Empires Launches June 24 for Slash-Happy Fans

June 24, 2026 is the launch date for Dynasty Warriors: Under Heaven, a mobile musou action game developed by Shengtian and officially licensed by Koei Tecmo. A launch trailer arrived alongside the announcement.

The title revives the series' trademark one-vs-thousand combat, now rendered in upgraded graphics that support 100-player simultaneous battles. Players can take command of iconic Three Kingdoms generals and replay historic encounters such as the Battle of Red Cliffs and the Battle of Guandu. The visual upgrade also brings dynamic lighting and increased battlefield density, making each battle feel weightier than past mobile attempts.

The mobile musou space has been due for a serious entry. Dynasty Warriors: Under Heaven promises the rush of charging into a horde as a powerful warlord. The engine upgrade is visually striking, but the multiplayer component is what matters most. Solo carnage is satisfying, but the real draw is whether you can link up with friends for co-op carnage. The real question is whether the multiplayer mode holds up under that intensity.
