Assassin's Creed Shadows 1.1.9 Update: Roommate Fights to See the Graphics

My roommate bought a new game and said he'd let us watch him play through it, haha. I originally thought single-player games were boring, but after the graphics update, it turned out to be amazing. Ubisoft officially announced that version 1.1.9 supports PS5 Pro's new technology. This PSSR 2.0 is basically like turning on a beauty filter for the graphics. The algorithm co-developed by Sony and AMD is really impressive.

Look at the grass details; they're so much clearer than before, absolutely stunning. Plus, the transparency of the trees looks much more natural and not blurry at all.

The grass used to be a blurry mess, but now every single blade is distinct and visible. What's most insane is that the particle effects are so detailed you can actually see the dust floating.

The Technical Director said pixel quality and stability have improved significantly. A few of us gathered around the screen, and it was as thrilling as watching a horror movie. Even though we can't play online together, watching my roommate play is still quite interesting. Real-time ray tracing makes the shadows look particularly layered.

If you have a PS5 Pro, I suggest updating ASAP to try out the effects. After all, the feeling of watching a blockbuster together in the dorm is the real joy. If a single-player game can bring us together, it's already half a win. Even if we're not playing and just looking at the scenery, we can chat all night without getting bored.
