Don't Fall for That Bloodborne Mobile Fake

A mobile app claiming to be Bloodborne surfaced in app stores recently, sparking excitement among hunters. Given that phones now run PS2 titles like Silent Hill 2, a mobile port seemed plausible.

Reality check: players who downloaded it found cheap Unity asset flips wrapped in ad software. The visuals are crude, gameplay bears zero resemblance to Bloodborne, and the whole thing exists solely to farm installs through brand recognition.

Google Play hosts plenty of these knockoffs. The platform's quality control remains notoriously inconsistent—legitimate games get pulled without explanation while shovelware like this slips through. Meanwhile, Bloodborne only runs on PC emulators; FromSoftware has announced no mobile plans.

If FromSoftware actually wanted a mobile version, their technical chops wouldn't produce this mess. The mobile market's booming, but players need to spot these bait-and-switch fakes. For real Bloodborne, stick with PS4 or wait for an official PC release.
