BMW iX3 debuts E Ink color-shifting tech at 2026 Beijing Auto Show

On April 24, E Ink announced at Auto China 2026 that the BMW iX3 Flow Edition has officially debuted—the world's first color-changing car heading into mass production. After four years since the 2022 CES concept, BMW and E Ink's collaboration has finally moved from prototype to reality.

The E Ink Prism technology is embedded directly into the hood structure, offering eight built-in animation effects that drivers can switch at will.
