GTA6 PC Still Unconfirmed as Rockstar Makes Fans Wait Again
Take-Two Interactive was asked about GTA 6 on today's earnings call, and CEO Strauss Zelnick still would not confirm a PC release plan. When an investor pressed him in the Q&A about whether there would be a later PC version, Zelnick only said that GTA 6 has “so far only been announced for consoles” and that the company is looking forward to its formal launch in November.
That answer says a lot by saying very little. Zelnick gave no concrete commitment and no timeline, which leaves PC players in the same waiting game Rockstar Games has favored for years: launch on consoles first, then bring the game to PC later. GTA 5 followed that route, and so did Red Dead Redemption 2.

The most important part of the exchange is what Zelnick did not say. The investor’s question was explicit about a future PC plan for GTA 6, but the response stayed at the level of “so far only announced for consoles.” That does not rule out a PC version, but it does not confirm one either, and it leaves everything fans care about most off the table: timing, platform roadmap, and whether PC players will be able to jump in at launch.
That is why the history matters. Rockstar Games has long used a console-first, PC-later release strategy, and GTA 5 plus Red Dead Redemption 2 both followed that pattern. On that basis, the article’s takeaway is simple: PC players will probably still be waiting when GTA 6 arrives.

If you want GTA 6 on day one, the practical answer remains the same: consoles are the only confirmed option. If you are a PC-only player, the safest move is to wait for official confirmation rather than assume a simultaneous launch. Based on this earnings call alone, the only thing that is clear is that GTA 6 is officially headed to consoles, with November still framed as the release window.
