Rock Kingdom World Hits Steam, but Mainland China Players Still Have to Wait

Tencent has opened a Steam store page for Rock Kingdom: World, the open-world pet-collecting game from Magic Cube Studio Group. The game officially launched on PC and mobile on March 26 this year, but a Steam release date has not been announced.

For now, this looks less like a new launch announcement and more like groundwork for another platform. The Steam page is live, but as of press time the game is still locked to the China region, so China-region players cannot find it through normal Steam search.

The more notable detail is language support: the Steam page says the game does not support Simplified Chinese. That matters if Tencent intends the Steam version to serve China-region players. For an open-world pet-collecting game adapted from the classic web game Rock Kingdom, the Steam page currently feels aimed more at overseas visibility and wishlists than at immediate access for China-region players.

If you have already played Rock Kingdom: World on PC or mobile, the Steam listing looks like another step in its wider rollout. If you are waiting for the Steam version, the two things that matter now are the official launch timing and language support. Until those are clear, the Steam page is a marker of intent rather than a way to play.
