Sanrio Dream Travel Is Live, and Sleeping Unlocks Content Too
HUSTLERS Corp. has launched Sanrio Dream Journey on iOS and Android, and the app tries to turn sleep hygiene into a Sanrio routine. The hook is "Sleepy Flight Mode". Once users set a bedtime and start it, the screen locks and cuts down on late-night phone use. According to John Moon and Neil Kim at HUSTLERS Corp., the point is to fold healthy sleep habits into everyday life, not just block the phone.

It is a more deliberate setup than it first sounds. Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco appear as travel companions while players build a steadier sleep schedule. Keep the routine going and you can unlock more than 20 dessert-themed destinations. The loop is simple: sleep well, unlock more.

The app also includes character-specific ASMR and wake-up alarms. Characters, scenes, and more than 80 clothing and accessory items per character are rendered in 3D. For Sanrio fans, it is less a skin pack than a way to make collecting part of a nightly routine. The dress-up side also feels built for repeat use.

Moon and Kim said they wanted healthy sleep habits to enter daily life naturally rather than through simple restriction. They framed the app as traveling with the characters, falling asleep together, and arriving at dawn. The language is soft, but the system underneath is concrete. It does not try to force compliance; it leans on companionship and unlocks instead.

The verdict is straightforward. If you want competition, execution, or direct confrontation, this is not the point. If you want to spend less time on your phone before bed and you like the Sanrio IP, this is worth a look. The real test is whether it gets you to bed on time and up the next morning.
