Arcade racing game set on a sun-drenched Oahu island featuring significantly improved handling and tight event pacing, hampered by shallow exploration rewards.

Nasz werdykt

If you plan to spend a dozen or so hours on it, The Crew Motorfest will reward you. The early pacing is brisk, the driving feels solid, and Oʻahu’s sunshine, bays, and nightlife are genuinely magnetic. It’s very good at creating that “just one more race” impulse—even if you know this open-world festival structure isn’t exactly new, you’ll still want to try another coastal route or switch to a car that catches your eye.

But if you want to treat it as a long-term open-world racing main course, the problems will gradually show. Compared with a benchmark like Forza Horizon 5, it borrows a proven framework without fully matching its content density, sustained sense of discovery, or overall identity. As a result, the experience follows a very familiar curve: a strong opening, a decent middle, and then a late game sustained mostly by your own enthusiasm for cars and scenery.

So, is it worth the time? Yes—but only with the right expectations. If you see it as a stylishly packaged racing weekend getaway with appealing scenery and dependable handling, you’ll probably be satisfied; if you expect it to be the new peak of its genre, disappointment comes easily. It isn’t an empty seat. It’s just still a few substantial dishes short of being the “Motorfest” its name promises.

One-line recommendation: Enjoy the scenery first, then decide whether it’s worth staying longer.
