Delta Force has put a new class of cheat on its priority crackdown list, according to an announcement from the Tencent Games Security Center. The notice targets so-called AI visual aim-assist tools that capture gameplay through live-streaming software, identify targets with AI, and convert that data into mouse-movement commands. Tencent says confirmed offenders have been hit with 10-year bans and placed on a permanent blacklist, making its position unusually explicit.

Break the method down and it looks less like a classic injected hack and more like an external cheat sandbox. It does not rely on reading game memory, modifying local files, or directly injecting into the client. Instead, it works one layer out, at the level of screen recognition. The pipeline itself is straightforward: capture the image, identify the target, calculate coordinates, and output mouse commands. In practice, that makes it feel like an assembly line built from automation scripts and visual models. It also explains why the community ended up circulating the claim that "if it doesn't read memory, it won't get you banned."

Tencent addressed that point directly. Its statement says: "Regardless of whether a cheat reads game memory or modifies game files, it still constitutes cheating." The meaning is simple enough. The standard is not the implementation method, but whether a player gains an aiming advantage through abnormal means. For a competitive shooter, that is arguably the more stable rule, because it targets the result and the behavior rather than one traditional technical path for cheating.

Based on the official disclosure, the security team has already completed reverse engineering of this cheat's core plugin, extracted code signatures, and deployed targeted detection measures. A full-scale crackdown is now underway. In other words, this is not just a public warning. It has already moved into the execution phase: identification, signature building, and batch enforcement. For players still assuming this method sits in a gray area, that matters more than any verbal warning, because the technical route has now been named and the detection work is already live.

The punishment leaves little room for ambiguity either. "All confirmed cheating accounts have been punished with a 10-year ban and permanent inclusion on the game blacklist." A 10-year ban plus a permanent blacklist effectively wipes out the practical lifespan of an account. For players invested in account progression, match records, and social ties, that cost is far higher than any short-term gain on the ladder.

From a community perspective, the worst part about AI-assisted cheats is not just their effectiveness. It is the kind of suspicion they create. On the other side of enforcement, Tencent says the security team has already worked with law enforcement to initiate criminal litigation procedures against the production, distribution, and sale of cheats.
