450,000 wishlists push Permafrost Century up the charts with 30% off

SpaceRocket Games has opened a Steam wishlist milestone campaign for Eternal Frost Era, its frozen open-world survival game. The Steam wishlist count has already passed 450,000, which means the first 15% launch discount is locked in. PC early access is set for October 9, 2026.

The deal is straightforward: the more wishlists the game gets before launch, the bigger the release discount. If Eternal Frost Era reaches 1 million Steam wishlists, players will get the full 30% off at release.

Eternal Frost Era is pitched as a cold-weather survival sandbox for solo play or online co-op with up to 4 players. Players gather resources, craft gear, build shelter, and try to stay alive against freezing conditions and wild animals.

The question is whether those pressures can feel connected and consequential, rather than another checklist of survival tasks. A 450,000-wishlist count is a solid sign of interest, and the first discount tier is already secured. Still, early access will need to show that the world has enough to do, and that co-op is reliable enough to keep groups playing.

For players already interested in harsh-weather survival and co-op base-building, wishlisting Eternal Frost Era now makes sense while the discount can still improve. Players who would rather wait for a fuller build should watch the first wave of feedback after October 9, 2026 before deciding whether to buy at launch or let the early-access version mature. The game is planned for PC via Steam and Epic, with Simplified Chinese support.
