EB Games Leak Reveals Ocarina of Time Remake Release Date

A poster allegedly photographed inside an Australian EB Games store is doing the rounds on Reddit. If it's genuine, it quietly lays out much of the Switch 2 release calendar through early 2027. Reddit user DrAwesomeX shared the image, which shows new logos and street dates for Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Minecraft, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, and several other titles. Nintendo hasn't confirmed it, and the poster's authenticity can't be verified.

Start with what checks out: the poster dates Nintendo Switch Sports Resort to October 22, 2026 and Minecraft to October 27, 2026, matching Nintendo's own announcements. That buys the image some surface credibility. Everything past those two lives in leak-and-rumor territory. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake carries November 12, 2026 — a date that's circulated as a rumor but never been confirmed. Metroid: Ravenous, a tentatively titled game that's leaked before without ever being announced, is penciled in for December 10, 2026.

Beyond that, the red flags pile up. Mario Baseball: Globe-Trotters — also a tentative title — is listed for January 21, 2027, yet the game hasn't been revealed at all. The Duskbloods gets only "holiday 2026," a window so vague it could mean almost anything.

Two smaller details, though, cut the other way. Fire Emblem (tentative title) and the Pokémon Pokopia DLC "冒泡泡海底的城镇" — roughly, "the Bubbly Undersea Town" — are both marked "out now" on the poster. The former is confirmed for September 17, 2026; the latter's DLC launched August 5, 2026. If the poster is real, then, it went up after September 17, 2026 — and that internal timeline holds together.

Reddit, predictably, is split: some are treating the Ocarina of Time Remake date as a promise, others are picking apart the poster's fonts and kerning. That's the trick of a half-true leak — nail the confirmed dates and people will swallow the rest.

The wait for an answer shouldn't be long. Nintendo has announced two Directs over the past few days, and any unannounced games or dates on that poster would most plausibly be confirmed on stage. Real or fake, the poster resolves itself soon enough. Until then, treat it as interesting, not authoritative.
