Bunny Garden 2 Launches September 19 With 4-Player Co-Op
French Bistro Simulator Locks In September 19 Launch, Reopens Free Demo
Steam lists French Bistro Simulator's 1.0 release for September 19, and the store page has reopened a free demo ahead of launch. If you already bought Early Access, you can opt into the final build from the “Betas” tab under Properties—no extra charge for the 1.0 test branch. Up to four players can run a Parisian restaurant together, which is the real pitch. The launch trailer is up on Bilibili at BV1eVuh6TE8z; the Steam app ID is 3058360.
The restaurant-management shelf on Steam is crowded, and French Bistro Simulator is going for a narrower niche than the Overcooked-style arcade rush. It lands somewhere between a co-op task list and a French-themed management sim: Parisian backdrop, a bar stocked with wine, coffee, beer, and soft drinks, tax accounting, and daily menu planning. That’s a specific audience, not a broad party crowd.

The 1.0 update looks like a substantial rework. The new personalized staff system, cuisine categories, and kitchen workbench shift the loop back from plate-and-serve to opening the place—decorating the space, choosing tables and chairs, sourcing ingredients, and designing the menu. A tax-driven financial system and customizable daily menus layer in more spreadsheet-grade decisions. The economy now feels closer to a mid-tier business sim than a party game, while the visual overhaul and more believable, roomier layout give the space a pulse.

Multiplayer remains the headline. Four players can divide shopping, prep, bar service, and expansion. With friends, that structure has a high ceiling; solo, the same loop is more likely to wear thin, especially if the AI staff behave oddly. Whether the package is worth buying also depends on what the demo and beta still have to prove: netcode stability. If the servers hold up at launch, this looks like a fuller package than the usual thin competitors in the price bracket.

Early Access owners get a good deal here: the beta path lets them test 1.0 before release. Newcomers should treat the reopened demo as a try-before-buy. French Bistro Simulator’s identity comes down to two hooks—the French setting and four-player co-op. If neither grabs you, there are plenty of other restaurant sims on Steam. But if you want to run a Parisian bistro with a small crew, circle September 19.
