The roles of these three games are pretty clear. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered is there to headline the lineup. It’s not a brand-new game, but the remastered version is a good fit for people who never played it. Whether returning players need to replay it depends on how much they care about the visual upgrades.

The Crew Motorfest fills the driving-game slot. PS Plus Extra and Premium need games like this that you can jump into and start driving right away. It may not pull everyone in for the long haul, but it’s great for short play sessions. Games like this are also much more likely to be tried when they enter the catalog than when they have to be bought separately.

Football Manager 26 is the most selective of the three. People who like it can play for a very long time, while those who don’t will probably quit within ten minutes. Its value doesn’t come from excitement, but from its management and decision-making loop. For a subscription catalog, this kind of long-tail game is actually a very cost-effective addition.
