Wreckfest

This is a game that knows what it wants to be. It doesn't chase realism, doesn't chase graphics, doesn't chase story—it just wants to make you hit "one more race" after every match.

And it succeeds.

If you miss the pure destructive joy of FlatOut, if you're tired of racing games that turn into driving simulators, if you just want to blow off steam for half an hour after work—this game is worth a try.

But it has obvious shortcomings. Career mode lacks innovation, graphics are just adequate, and sound design is barely passing. It's not the kind of game you'll play for hundreds of hours, but it guarantees every hour you do play will be a blast.
