Fenghu Yunlong Stealth Demo Shows Off Aerial Assassinations
The producer of Wind Tiger Cloud Dragon has released a new gameplay video, according to GamerSky, showing the solo-developed third-person 3D wuxia action RPG’s stealth gameplay. The game, previously described by its developer as a "0A" project, already has a free playable demo available on Steam, while its full release date has not yet been announced.
The new footage shows another way to handle encounters. Instead of drawing a weapon and going straight into a fight, the protagonist can crouch, stay near the edge of an enemy’s sightline, and use the environment to look for an opening. For a wuxia RPG built by an individual developer, that kind of addition is more interesting than another set of attack animations.

The clearest new detail is the aerial dagger kill. The protagonist can approach a target from above, drop from a height, and perform a quick execution with a dagger. The idea itself is familiar, but in a wuxia setting it reads differently: rooftops, courtyards, patrol paths, and the possibility of slipping away after one decisive strike. Whether it works will depend less on the execution animation and more on whether the levels leave enough room for observation, flanking, and timing.

Before this stealth footage, Wind Tiger Cloud Dragon was already built around equipping separate weapons in each hand, different weapon pairings, and a dual-resource combat system. Players can equip different weapons in each hand, then shape their fighting style through those combinations. The combat loop is structured around blocking, dodging, counterattacking, and using techniques.
Its RPG layer also puts more weight on equipment builds. Before entering a dungeon, players can preview the equipment that may drop, then collect gear with randomized affixes to create different builds. The main story also hides multiple seeded plot threads, with major player choices affecting later plot developments.

In theory, the new stealth and assassination layer is more than a side feature. It potentially gives players another decision point before combat begins: infiltrate carefully, remove a key enemy first, or step into a direct fight with the build they have prepared.
For players already interested in Chinese-made wuxia ARPGs, the practical next step is to try the Steam Demo and pay attention to the feel, camera behavior, and rhythm of the resource system. It is too early to judge the final game while the release date remains unannounced. The real question is whether this solo project can make stealth, weapon combinations, randomized gear, and branching story choices feel like one connected experience instead of separate systems running in parallel.
