Centro LEAKS Reveals Pokémon Game with MMO Features Targeting Fall 2027

Pokémon: Wind/Wave is reportedly bringing full MMO functionality to the franchise's tenth generation, according to a Centro LEAKS dump that has yet to receive official confirmation. The game is currently targeting a September 2027 release, though that date could shift.

The most significant change isn't the setting—it's how you move through it. The core gameplay reportedly centers around a hotel, where the lobby acts as an MMO hub, the front desk doubles as a quest board, and the Professor works the desk himself. This marks a substantial departure from previous generations: Gen 8 let you see other players, Gen 9 added real-time status visibility, and Gen 10 apparently jumps straight to MMO-level co-op.

The main story remains a gym challenge, but the scope has expanded considerably. Players can tackle over 100 missions, with 18 marked as high-difficulty. Completing all of them apparently unlocks luxury hotel rewards. The opening task—capturing a Pokémon capable of surfing to escape the starting island—reportedly opens the world immediately afterward, letting players tackle the final boss right away if they choose.

Legendary encounters and gym leader battles are optional here, but the leak suggests they function similarly to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild—offering advantages for the final fight without blocking it entirely. Top performers might get approached directly by gym trainers or even the Champion.

All of this comes from unofficial sources. Nothing has been verified by The Pokémon Company.
