Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Void Shadows コメント

“A hundred-hour tactical odyssey featuring branching morality and ship command captures the grimdark essence, yet technical instability hampers the complex combat encounters.”
編集部の総評
The biggest problem with this game is: it's too hardcore.
A hundred-plus hour campaign, a combat system complex enough to require checking the Wiki, dense terminology, frequent bugs—these barriers will turn many people away. But if you get past these hurdles, you'll find a very solid CRPG inside.
The narrative quality is genuinely good. Not the tired "save the world" story, but one that puts you in a morally gray universe where you make choices and face consequences. The combat system is complex, but has enough tactical depth that every battle feels challenging. The content is massive, and most of it isn't filler.
But I wouldn't say "you're missing out if you don't play it." This game knows exactly what kind of player it wants: someone who enjoys hardcore CRPGs, can tolerate technical issues, and ideally has some familiarity with Warhammer 40K. If you fit that profile, this game is worth the hundred-plus hour investment. If not, wait for a sale.
My first reaction after finishing was: I want to start a second playthrough and try a different moral path. But then I looked at my save file timestamp—never mind, I'll take a break first.
