ラチェット&クランク パラレル・トラブルIs Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart on PC Worth the Updates?
PlayStation Publishing has released technical update 3.630.1.0 for the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, according to the official announcement. The patch focuses on an AMD FSR upgrade, new frame-generation compatibility, better DualSense Edge wireless stability on PC, and a fix for a bug that could gray out and lock the NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation option.
This is strictly a maintenance update. It is aimed at people already playing, and the gains are mostly practical: fewer menu-side annoyances, fewer compatibility headaches, and cleaner support for newer hardware.

The most concrete change is that AMD FSR Super Resolution has been upgraded to 3.1.4. On top of that, the game now supports AMD's next-generation machine-learning-based frame generation technology, internally codenamed Redstone. There is a clear hardware gate, though. To use that new AMD tech, players need a Radeon RX 9000 series GPU and driver version 25.12.1 or later.
So this is less a broad upgrade than an early step toward newer hardware support. If your PC is not on the RX 9000 series, most of the benefit here is about future compatibility rather than an immediate upgrade.
Another useful tweak is how the game handles FSR 4. When players globally enable AMD FSR 4 in the driver control center, the game's main menu and launcher will now correctly identify and display FSR 4. It is a small change on paper, but for anyone who likes to verify whether a setting is actually active, it removes some pointless second-guessing.

The more important fix may be a bug from the previous version. Before this patch, switching to FSR Frame Generation, or disabling frame generation altogether, could cause the NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation option to turn gray and stay locked out. That conflict has now been fixed. It does not add features, but it does remove a genuinely annoying setup problem.
Controller users get something tangible too. The team has improved low-level data return support for the DualSense Edge when connected to PC over wireless Bluetooth, which should improve feedback and stability after unplugging the cable. For anyone using the pad wirelessly, that matters more than another graphics-side tweak.
If you have not bought Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, this update alone is not a reason to buy in. It adds no new content and does not expand the game itself. But if you are already playing on PC, especially with a newer AMD card or if you use a DualSense Edge regularly, this is the kind of patch you should install without much thought. The payoff is simple: less time spent sorting out settings, and fewer compatibility traps.

Good cleanup patch if you already own it, especially the FSR 3.1.4 upgrade and the fix for DLSS frame generation getting locked out.
I agree, it sounds more like overdue PC polish than a reason to jump in now, though the better wireless DualSense Edge support is nice for anyone already playing.
