#DontAskMeForCoins WAKE UP BABE! The Microtransation shop patch update just dropped, even though the game struggles exponentially with pluggers, cheaters and hackers SWARMING the game and not being punished for it at all! - They intentionally held back any mentions about the microtransaction shop in the ALREADY 70-110 USD$ game for the whole month after release. Hell, they didn't mention anything about it throughout the whole promotion campaign before the official release too. - They had to raise their ESRB rating after that patch, which confirms even further that it was not mentioned ANYWHERE beforehand, most probably even to the people that were testing the game. - They intentionally butchered and massively dumbed-down the customisation options for all characters, just so they could greedily suck more money out of the wallet of their consumers via the MTX shop introduced in this patch. And the costumes are listed as "full-body" options too, which means that we cannot mix and match them AT ALL. We could do that in all previous Tekkens BY JUST PURCHASING THE GAME but now we cannot, it's impossible. We also had WAY MORE stuff in customisations in other Tekkens that are gone now, like the ability to change gloves or adding our own decals (patterns) onto costumes. - The pricing of "Tekken Coins" is pure scumbaggery. The outfits cost 4$, you need 400 coins, but in order to get these 400 coins you are FORCED to buy 500 coins for 5$... And if you decide to buy a bundle of 1000 coins for 10$ you ONLY GET 50 more coins than if you were to do so by buying the 5$ one 2 times. - The pricing of these things are laughable. The skins for your avatars (the ones where you just run around the lounge and do... well, pretty much not at all since it's super bare-bones), are worth exactly 400 coins like the outfits for characters IN ACTUAL GAMEPLAY. Let me repeat this, the price of the avatar skin is worth EXACTLY THE SAME as the full skin for the character IN-GAME. That just makes me think, that they are going to actually INCREASE the price for in-game characters costumes in the near future, which is even worse and it's already a disaster as it is. - They put fireworks emojis into the shop that you can buy for either 50 coins or even 100 coins. Apparently, some dumb fireworks are worth 1/4th of the avatar skin or even an actual skin in the game. You want to laugh more? You can only use them 10 times. Yes, you have to buy them AGAIN after using them 10 times. Yes, you heard that right. - They disabled the "Steam Remote-Play" for this game, even though we are able to do that in the demo. The fighting games like these are SUITED PERFECTLY for remote-play. But hey, then only one person could buy the costume and the other just remote-play with them and not spend the bucks in the shop, right Bamco? - Don't worry! IT GETS WORSE! There's this disclaimer (written in super short font, like they are always BTW) that has a very weird description. It's like you are supposed to HURRY with the purchases in the shop if you have coins on your account because... because there's a possibility that the future patch may erase your coins apparently... Interesting, isn't it? - Don't worry! IT GETS EVEN WORSE! If you just so happen to be from the Japan region, your coins only last for 6 months! After that it's all erased and if you had some of them spared on your account then after that 6 months period they just magically disappear. - There are looms in the air that people that DARED to mod their game with costumes (costumes that are actually new, creative, done by the community themselves and good BTW.) are going to get banned. People that have a texture of a costume replaced, that only they themselves can see and their opponent cannot, which does not affect gameplay at all are quicker on the list to get banned from the game than the immeasurably big wave of pluggers, cheaters and hackers. Let that sink in. Customisation modders are "way riskier" for the health of the game than people that plug during the match to save their ranks, riskier than cheaters that use auto low-parry scipts and auto-block-punish, riskier than hackers that immediately kill your character in a match with 1 punch. This game became an absolute joke. - Since we're on the topic of pluggers, cheaters and hackers let me just mention this. If you're the one who stayed after your opponent plugged on you, you know what happens? You get no win and your opponent gets no losing points. What you do get, as a person that stayed is you get to have your winning streak completely erased for some reason :) Oh, and their solution to this? No, it's not to award the win to the person that stayed and a loss to the person that left, noooo, that is WAY too easy for them and it does not go with their imaginary "we can be sued into court by them in some countries" narative. What they are doing is they are demoting THE HIGHEST RANKED BOOSTERS IN THE LEADERBOARDS to the "beginner" rank. Why, you ask? I guess, so the new people that buy the game are forced to play with a smurfing loser and get discouraged in the process by being stomped by them or in rare cases when they are about to win, to be plugged on by them. Don't you understand their flawless logic? The foundation of this game in terms of gameplay is solid and feels fun. It really does. I have 154h in it after 1 month. There are balancing issues, but even with that it plays really good. However, adding that Tekken Shop and all the BS that comes with it just makes me want to abandon the game completely and as a long-time Tekken fan it kind of hurts. Especially since I met a lot of cool people playing this game. I was gullible enough to support their questionable DLCs from Tekken 7, because they were barely able to make that game after Tag2 and I really wanted to see Tekken 8. Now for T8 they authentically had the biggest budget ever after the miraculous success of T7 and what do they do? They slap us in the face with the hidden MTX shop. The devs that are "transparent and honest" in their own eyes. I just cannot support something hideous as this. I'm disappointed beyond belief. Shame on you Tekken Team and Bandai Namco, even though you don't have any because you're more focused on pleasing the shareholders instead of the people that actually buy your game. You see us all as cashcows and I'm sick of it. Another problem is that regular people are so conditioned nowadays that they actually defend this stuff. They defend the billion dollar companies with slimy, greedy and down-right evil practices like these. Then they say stuff like "you don't have to buy it, you know?". That's not the point at all. The point is that all of these customisations in the shop were done MONTHS or even YEARS before the official release, they were ready for launch and they should be a part of the already overpriced game with season pass and now a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MTX shop, but now they decided to sell them separately. The shop that was hidden from all the people and even the press to avoid the bad press. A lot of people wouln't have bought the game simply because they would hear about the MTX shop being introduced. Now they cannot even refund the game, since they already have over 2 hours in it, because there were no mentions of the MTX shop. Vote with your wallet. If you didn't buy Tekken 8 yet, please, do not buy this game, because the developers and company only see you as cashcow apparently. If you already bought it before and got forced into this MTX BS or are unable to refund it, then please, do not buy anything from that MTX Tekken Shop. That is, if you actually want for this game to be better for the consumers in the future. If you don't, then continue licking the boots of the Triple A video game corps that couldn't care less about you.

NO I SIĘ DOCZEKALIŚMY. Były to m. in.: 1. absurdalne ruchy forsujące 50/50 idące w myśl designu NO risk ALL reward 2. ofensywa tłamsząca nawet dobrych defensywnie graczy (patrz Kuma i chip damage) 3. upraszczanie i ujednolicanie postaci (stance rushdown) 4. problemy z balansem top tierów Co się zmieniło?

Bezpłatna postać musi robić minutowe combo, żeby zadać tyle DMG co płatna postać robi jednym kopem. lepiej włożyć te +100zł w skarpete albo w dupe, niż kupować ta karykature bijatyki. bandai scamco dodawaj wiecej cycow i bardziej op platne postacie, community wytrzyma B)Pokaż więcejPokaż mniej

S3 Update: Welp, yeah I don't have the strenght to complain anymore lol S2 update: Welp, yeah this update answers my rhetorical question at the end of my orginal review weeeeew Short little background to set the stage for this mess - since the launch of the game the community has been slowly raising their voices as the emphasis on offense was considered to be straying from the 'core' of the series too much, however with some of the recent patches the developers showed that they take note and have done some nice albeit arguably too small updates in good direction. Season 2 was supposed to be an easy homerun as the developers claimed it's a 'defense' oriented patch - exactly what the community wanted, more defense and more ironed out balance. So what happened? Somehow the exact opposite, despite the devs saying the focus will be on the defense they have doubled down on the offense, changed/removed legacy mechanics(Some of which have been in the game since the very beginning for 30 years!) , buffed pretty much the entire cast dialing up the offense even higher and in some cases hurt the identity of the characters by making them easier to play for 'newer' players while at the same time somehow managing to nerf them for more expierienced players(????). Aside from the questionable changes the patch has some nasty oversights/bugs too that I expect to be patched out soon(Namely Jack's and Paul's shenanigans). OG Review: Great game, terrible mtx Worth noting that there is a data corruption bug that dates back to T7 on pc and if it will happen to you it will lock you out from skins/season pass stuff you have bought/unlocked claiming you 'already own it'. So yeah, aside from MTX being poorly implemented you can lose access to things you have already bought. The fact that they did not implement any workaround for that is crazy to me. What is even more damning is that the developers in one of their talks claimed their way of monetizing is 'good and honest' and with no common bad practices that are associated with this type of stuff, well guess what? Yup, they do the same bad practices everyone else does. Limited time season pass for that arificiatl scarcity and fomo - check Not being able to buy the exact number of paid currency to be able to buy exactly what you want thus leaving some on your account to tingle your psyche to round it up or get rid of the leftovers - check Implementing in-game store and battle pass months after launch to dodge them impacting the reviews and launch - what the ♥♥♥♥, checked How can you claim you are better than everyone else while doing the exact same stuff? Do they think their players are stupid? I start to think they doPokaż więcejPokaż mniej
