Jill May Miss Resident Evil Requiem DLC, Though Plans Could Still Change

Resident Evil Requiem may leave Jill Valentine out of its future DLC, according to Team Biohazard, a leak-focused group covering the Resident Evil series. The report instead points to a larger role for Jill in Capcom's in-development Resident Evil remake, with a possible appearance in a remake of Resident Evil 0. Capcom has not officially confirmed any of these claims.

The leak instead suggests that Capcom may be positioning Jill closer to the series' origins. Team Biohazard claims the remake of the original Resident Evil could make Jill a central character, bringing her back to the mansion incident in a modernized form. The report does not provide further details about the remake's design.

Jill's involvement in a Resident Evil 0 remake would depend on changes to the game's story. According to Team Biohazard, she could be included if Capcom strengthens the connection between the remake's ending and the mansion incident in the original Resident Evil. The change would give the remake a more direct narrative link to the original game's mansion incident.

Jill's reported absence from the Resident Evil Requiem DLC would not necessarily mean Capcom is sidelining her. It could instead leave her main return for one of the classic remakes. Her connection to the mansion would also tie her more directly to the series' original setting and structure.

For now, every part of this report remains unverified. Capcom has not announced the remake of the original Resident Evil or the Resident Evil 0 remake, and the projects' specific content, development progress, story changes, and release dates have not been disclosed. Players should treat the claims as a possible direction for Jill's future, not as a reason to buy or wait. The next reliable update will be an official Capcom announcement confirming the projects and Jill's role in them.
