This is a game whose ambition far exceeds its execution. Paradox wanted to create the "ultimate history simulator," and they achieved about 70% of that goal.
Is it worth spending 80 hours on? If you're a veteran strategy game player, if you can tolerate instability and UI disasters, if you want to experience that feeling of "I'm creating history"—it's worth it. But don't expect it to be perfect; it's more like a half-finished product full of possibilities.
