This is a game that knows what it wants to be—co-op shooting, killing bugs, that's it. It doesn't try to tell a grand story, doesn't try to build a massive open world, and doesn't try to revolutionize shooter gameplay. It just wants you and your friends to survive the swarm.

And it achieves that goal. The experience of being chased by bugs, running out of ammo, and barely making it to extraction with just your knife and teammates is genuinely thrilling. But the question is—then what? After you beat it, aside from replaying on a harder difficulty, the game doesn't give you much reason to stick around.

It's like fast food. Satisfying while you're eating it, forgotten once you're done. If you have three regular teammates, if you enjoy that "hold the line" tension, if you don't mind grinding the same missions repeatedly—then this game is worth a shot. But if you're a solo player, or expecting a shooter with depth, wait for a sale.
